Real cloth diapers week
La Câlinerie invites you to the store Saturday, April 21th to mark the Real cloth diapers week. On this special day, several activities are planned: in-store promotion and online, tasting vegetable desserts made by Les Créations Les Gumes, draw prizes, unveil our exclusive embroidered cloth diaper ""Vers un monde plus vert ." In addition, the first 25 families* to appear in stores will receive a bag with surprises inside! A great opportunity to highlight the Real cloth diapers week!
Sunday, April 22th, during the World Earth Day, all guests will leave with a little surprise for maintaining a home, do laundry or wash efficiently, economically and ecologically.

Organizing baby shower!
Whether your shower, that of your sister, your best friend or your girlfriend... longer need to ask questions! We organized it for you and we move to animate! Two packages are available including animation, games, surprises, gift and enjoy!
The organization is for 10 to 12 people and lasts about 2:30.

La Câlinerie invites you to participate in our first edition of the Guignolée des couches lavables. From December 1th to 20th, 2011, come to us a cloth diaper or an accessory for cloth diapers, new or used (in good condition and clean) to help parents in need of Quebec City. We give them up to Centre Ressources Jardin de Familles.
To thank you for your gesture, which will make a difference for some families in the region, we will get a gift certificate for $50,00 CAD from Öom Ethikwear.

La Pharmacie des enfants course
La Câlinerie offers training for 3 hours with Marilène Perreault, naturopath. At this course, you will learn the importance of fever, the main health problems in children (ears, throat, sinuses, lungs, etc ...) and most importantly, how to treat your children at home! You will also know which products it is important to have at home to treat symptoms quickly!

Following your nice comments and participation in courses on babycarrier offered through the International Week of the Babywaering, La Câlinerie is now offering new courses on the babycarrier. We also reviewed and improved existing courses on the babycarrier to suit your needs. We also decided to offer a brand new free course on housekeeping and personal care.
They are:
Choosing the right babycarrier
Course to choose the perfect baby carrier that suits you best. Free course.
Baby wearing beginner
Beginner course allows you to come and practice with your traditional babycarrier (sling, mei tai, wrap, pouch), validating a position, etc.. accompanied by a professor of babywearing. Free course when you bought your babycarrier at the store.
The woven wrap - Enhanced
Basic course for new users of a woven wrap. $25 per couple, $5 discount when you bought your babycarrier at the store.
The advanced woven wrap
Course for those who wish to learn or practice the positions on the back and hip with a woven wrap. This course replaces the course Portage back and hip and wants to be more specialized in gathering only the users of the woven wrap. $25 per couple, $5 discount when you bought your babycarrier at the store.
Personal care and housekeeping
Course offers an overview of adverse effects caused by chemicals in personal care products and household cleaners as well as various alternatives for healthy choices. Free course.
Recovery of cloth diapers, 2nd Edition
As part of the Waste reduction week, La Câlinerie invites you to bring the used cloth diapers for your child, still in good condition but no longer serve you, at the store Saturday, October 22th to 13h. CASIRA will send in a convalescent home for children in Guatemala.
You can also bring clothes and accessories for baby and mom that we will give the CLSC.

International babywearing week
This year, the International Babywearing Week takes place from October 10th to 16th, 2011. To mark this week, we offer a series of curses baby carriers. Whether to familiarize yourself with the different baby carriers, knowing the benefits and advantages of the babywearing or to simply learn more, there will be a course for you. Four courses are offered either Choosing the right baby carrier, The Mei Tai by Moa Pô, The woven wrap beginner and The woven wrap advanced. The course are free. You can register online via our Events Calendar or by phone or by coming to the shop.
In our store and online, you could win a European wrap. Click here to participate from Octobrer 10th to 16th.

Winners big family party
We had a wonderful family celebration on Saturday. The children had fun in the inflatable games. Congratulations to winners of various prizes are Marie-Christine Bouchard, Melanie Mathieu and Sylvie Desjarlais! Congratulations to Isabelle Labbé who won a buckwheat pillow for adults and Véronique Bédard who won the gift basket. We also tasted delicious desserts healthy for the party.
